Georgia On My Mind

The mountain scenery was beautiful.  Spring is just arriving in the Appalachian mountains.

From Brasstown Bald, the highest mountain in Georgia, looking back toward Blairsville.

The half-mile climb from the parking lot to Brasstown Bald's summit gives Judy some serious exercise.

This view was on Highway 129 south of Blairsville.

The spring runoff has just begun on the creeks lining many of the highways, such as this one off Highway 28 in North Carolina.

The early morning clouds hung low over the mountains along highway 64.

Along the road.  Tennessee's Lake Ocoee.

A quiet and peaceful lakeside stop.
