Conyers and Atlanta

First stop on the Harley trip was Conyers, Georgia.  Friends Randy and Gaye took time out from packing for their weekend trip to Gulf Shores to offer a wonderful evening of southern hospitality.  After a home-cooked breakfast the next morning (thanks Gaye!), I stopped by the Atlanta FDIC office to see old friends.  Although many people were taking an extra day off for Memorial Day weekend, Doug, Melissa, Wayne and Sandy interrupted their busy schedule to treat me to great Mexican food and bring me up to date on FDIC happenings.

Gaye and Randy's beautiful home in Conyers looks warm and inviting from the street.  It is as beautiful inside as it looks from the outside.

The porch wraps around three sides of the house and provides a great setting for enjoying those warm Georgia evenings.

Doesn't this inviting picture make you want to pour a mint julep, take your shoes off, prop your feet up and just enjoy life!
