Day 8:

Estes Park - Big Thompson Canyon - Ft. Collins - Denver

The last day.  Pat rode his Harley back to Ft. Collins to Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson.  We followed in the Honda CR-V.

During the week, we put almost 1,500 miles on the two Harleys, saw some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable, and shared laughter innumerable times.  This is what motorcycling is really about.  Good times with good friends.

Judy (above) and Pat (right) relax before heading back to Ft. Collins to return the rented Harley and catch a flight home.

Woody recreates the route on a souvenir map for Pat and Judy.

Breakfast at the Lake Shore Lodge overlooking Lake Estes (below) was a perfect ending to a perfect Harley ride through the Colorado Rockies and red rock canyons.

Pat checking the Harley Road King back into Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson made it official.  Pat and Judy flew back to Orlando and Woody and Judy drove to Kearney, Nebraska, to retrieve their four-legged friend, Sasha.  Thanks to Karen and Casey for being kind enough to care for Sasha while Woody and Judy are out riding in the mountains.
