Leaving Taos, we crossed the Rio Grande River gorge.

  The road seemed to stretch on forever.

The Chama Valley is a beautiful setting in northern New Mexico.
 

Finally!  We reached Colorado.....

...and stopped for refreshments at the Junction Restaurant
 at the base of Wolf Creek Pass in Pagosa Springs.
  Roe enjoys iced tea and a telephone call on the deck.
