More Branson, Missouri

Branson is famous for it's entertainment.  Out of the five shows, the Platters and Shoji Tabuchi were our favorites.  Shoji Tabuchi??   A Japanese country music artist?  Sure, and his show was one of the best.

At right, the Platters.  A little older, a little rounder, but just as good as ever.

Yakov Smirnoff, a Russian comedian, performed his mountain-climbing routine directly over our seats!!

We also saw Mickey Gilley and an outdoor drama, The Shepherd of the Hills, based on a novel written in the early 1900's about the people of the Ozark Mountains.

Shoji Tabuchi's show was the most elaborate of all.   But what really caught my eye was the men's restroom.  Black fixtures with gold trim.  A pool table.  The Wall Street Journal.  Heck, a fridge and a couple of six-packs and a guy could just move in here!!
