Glacier Gardens is an Alaskan rainforest whose claim to fame is trees with upturned roots with flowers growing in them.

Naturally there is a story behind this rock sitting on top of a tree with its truck stuck in the ground and its roots in the air.......

Seems the gardener found the tree blown over after a storm and discovered that the tree had been sitting all these years on top of the rock!.....

So..... the gardener thought it only fair that now the rock should sit on top of the tree......

or something like that......

If you've seen one, you've seen them all....

The small pond does make a peaceful setting.

A heart shaped planter forms the backdrop for the wedding chapel/visitors center.
If you're ever in Juneau and you miss seeing Glacier Gardens....
