 After spending the night at Chetola Lodge in Blowing Rock, we rode the short distance to Boone for breakfast at the Mountain House Restaurant. Breakfast and entertainment all in one setting! Ricky waits patiently for the rest of us to mount our bikes for the ride to Hungry Mother State Park. |
 Hungry Mother State Park - On the way north to West Virginia's Hungry Mother State Park, we decided to stop at a country store and buy food for a picnic. Absent a country store, we made do with a convenient 7-11. Each person could spend only $5 for food and drinks. It is amazing the variety and combinations of food each person chose. Of course SOME people MAY have exceeded the $5 limit. The next few pictures should give you a clue as to who that might be....... |
