Although Judy and I are newcomers to this retirement thing,
the ACA members made us feel right at home. In fact, they ran us into the
ground. They are a very active group!! Golf, trips to Callaway Gardens and the
Warm Springs Little White House, dinner in an old house on a horse farm, and a western
jamboree kept us hopping for four days.
The jamboree was held at a local ranch. The farm
animals included a camel which had been rescued after being mistreated by a former
owner. Judy makes friends with a peace offering.
A stream flowing through the ranch looked inviting enough to
go wading, and several folks did.
A hayride topped off a ranch style dinner and dancing to
live country music.
An attack goose nips one of the coach owners. His
escape maneuvers took top honors in the dance contest.
