Guy Ride 2002

Many of the motels we stay in let us park the bikes under cover.  After a night of blowing rain in Asheville, the bikes were wet anyway.

The Blue Ridge Parkway south of Asheville was fogged in.  We traveled at slow speed for several miles before we climbed through the clouds to a sunny day.

The fog at our first stop almost hid Ricky and Toothpick.

We rode around the mountains for six days.  Tennessee was experiencing floods.  Rain was all around us.  But we got wet only once, for about 15 minutes while riding to the motel one night.

Ricky takes in the grandeur of it all.

As the fog begins to burn off, Pat is ready to ride.
