in a small grocery store along highway 28.  She fried up bologna
sandwiches for Pat, Ricky and Woody.

I don't think Toothpick quite believes the story Pat is spinning.
Notice the innocent look on Pat's face.

The guy driving this motorhome was taking his father to North Carolina
fishing.  The father, well up in his 70's, was driving and somehow
got off onto a part of the Interstate under construction.

        He was
driving along about 55mph when all of a sudden there was a gap in the
pavement.  The motorhome ran off the pavement, dropped about 8
inches, went 20 feet or so, then came up 8 inches onto the new
pavement!  "Things were flying everywhere!  You've never
heard such a noise!  It knocked me completely out of my
        seat!"

Ricky, Pat, and Toothpick take a break at the entrance to "Deals
Gap".  We rode back to the Country Cottage for dinner before
returning to Blairsville for the night.

          The next
morning it was 29 degrees with a wind chill factor of 19 when we left
for home.  I don't know what the wind chill factor is when you're
riding 60 mph, but it's darn cold when the temperature is 29!  It's
the coldest riding I have ever done.  Even with all the clothes we
could put on, our fingers and toes were numb before we stopped for coffee
        only 20 miles away.

        "Guy Ride 2003"!
